    • Recommended ForPeople whom like complexity with some smoke, but not overwhelming peat. This is not for big peat fans nor heavy Islay drinkers. If you like Lagavulin 16, give this a try as it's as light and balanced, but more complex.

    • Recommended ForObviously mostly for collectors and fans of the standard Michter’s Rye, but if you like the mellowness and balance of the standard version, I would recommend saving money and avoiding this, especially since it’s 3-4 times the price of the regular expression. However, if you’re a cask strength fanatic, or a collector, you probably shouldn’t pass this up, especially since it’s under $100, which is rare for a rare American whiskey these days.

    • Recommended ForI recommend this to everyone. It’s what I call a “life event whiskey”. It’s something you should try in your life, and preferably save it for a special life event (birth of a child, wedding, etc.). It’s even cheaper than the 30 year old of the same year, at most retailers. It’s pricy, but worth it in my opinion.
