Name: Cadenhead Dalmore 24

Overall Character: Peach cobbler and citrus

Recommended Drinker: Cadenhead fans, and Highland/Speyside single malt drinkers who don’t typically like Dalmore. It’s also a great cost-performance whisky as almost all Cadenhead whiskies are.

Recommended Drinker: Perfect for bar-goers who see it and want a nice easy and tasty Highland single malt. It’s good, too, if you don’t like standard Dalmores, or want a good cheap and young Dalmore at cask strength.

Name: Tamdhu 10

Overall Character: Raisins and sweet rubber

Recommended Drinker: Light sherry cask single malt drinkers. Perfect for someone looking for a good sherry cask Scotch at a reasonable price, and readily available. This one is lesser known than your Aberlour and Glenfarclas, etc. Plus, it has more character at this age in my opinion. A great buy for a daily dram if you like to be a bit more original.

Cutty Sark Prohibition (2015) 8.1

Cutty Sark Prohibition (2015)

Author

Name: Cutty Sark Prohibition

Overall Character: Rich, balanced sweetness with a touch of earthiness.

Recommended Drinker: This is a great cost-performance whisky. If you didn’t like the standard Cutty Sark, you should still give this a chance. It’s also great if you want a very cheap Scotch while still being great quality. If you’re on a budget, but want lots of flavor, in an iconic brand, look no further.
