Overall Character: Sweet and smooth honey tea and citrus
| Nose: Honey, black and herbal tea, mild sugar and spices. Notes of citrus fruits.
| Palate: More honey, along with sweet toffee and nutmeg. more bitter black tea and citrus.
| Finish: Sweet and smooth honey with bitter tea leaves and trailing citrus peal.
| Overall: I found this to be a bit more balanced and refined than the 10 year reserve. It’s no surprise it’s more modern and readily available. Still nothing special, but a good go-to for people who like approachable affordable “smooth” whiskies.
