Overall Character: Description

| Nose: Smells like incense. Very unique. Like church or a fancy hotel room. Perhaps some type of furniture or textile or cleanser. Linseed oil and whatnot. Some smoke, but not all that peaty nor medicinal in any way. Floral. Fruity marmalade too. Some mild nuttiness.

| Palate: Wow. Hint of pepper and peat. Oily palette with lots of warm fruits. Apple, like baked apple pie apple. Orange marmalade. Slight tannins round it out. Tons of flavors balanced with sweet and soft bitterness, while thick throughout. It’s all the sweet and bitter balance and heavy mouth feel you could dream of. A stunner.

| Finish: Long oak and citrus, and pie crust. Gets a bit bitter with water and time.

| Overall: Very unique nose, legs as thick as anything you could imagine, balanced inviting but potent palette, long tasty finish. Amazing! Pricy, but great for what it is, its age, and around the same price as the OB 30yo or cheaper depending where you look (US$670~930-2012). Worth saving money for. A “life event” whisky.
