Overall Character: Sweet soft maple butter and rye spices

| Nose: Maple butter, brown sugar and well balanced rye spices.

| Palate: More maple butter, along with a nice balance of dry oak and spices. Smooth and sweet and well balanced.

| Finish: Dried fruits, more maple sugar and dry oak. Not so long but well balanced.

| Overall: Definitely the best CC has to offer. It’s not going to be a flavor monster as many bourbon drinkers, or even scotch drinkers would like, but it’s balance and approachability are enough to make an experienced drinker pleased, and a novice amazed. This is the type of whisky someone should call “smooth”, as much as I hate that term. It’s light, balanced and approachable by all.
