• Style: Single Malt Scotch
  • Grain/Mash-bill: Malted Barley (100%)
  • Country: Scotland
  • Region: Islay
  • Distillery: Ardbeg
  • Bottler: OB
  • ABV: 50.2
  • Proof: 100.4
  • Year: 2023
  • Other: Made without the use of a purifier, a part of the still which gives Ardbeg a balance of fruit and smoke. This lack of the purifier allows the heaviest vapours to rise up during the distillation process

Overall Character: Smoked meats, salty dark chocolate and mild fruits and veggies.

| Nose: Smoke, bananas, butterscotch fudge, cardamom, peaches and saline solution.

| Palate: Smoked chicken, salty oysters, more butterscotch fudge and cardamom, but less fruitiness. Some bitter dark chocolate here.

| Finish: Medium mushroom, clove and more dark chocolate..

| Overall: Like a picnic where everything is smoked. Meats, veggies, and even fruits. Dessert, too! Great, but not worth the $160 MSRP (2023), in my opinion. There are much better Ardbegs for less.
